Getting to Alam Bali Beach Resort

Amed is one of the further corners of Bali from the airport — budget 2.5 to 3 hours by car from Ngurah Rai, and more in weekend traffic. Most guests pre-book a private transfer or hire a driver, since taxis and ride-hailing apps are thin this far east. The drive up the coast is scenic but winding, so if you are prone to motion sickness, sit in front. Coming from Ubud, allow around two hours; from the Lovina area in the north, a little less.
